This 3d-printed clock was my first university project at Aalto University for the course Introductory Design Project.
The 3D printer's plastic parts were designed and 3D modeled by me and my teammate, Vera Väänänen. We have built the printer together and used it for printing with clay and porcelain for our individual projects.
I used Solidworks to design and model the ceramic pieces. After printing they were fired and painted. The clock's housing is made complete and functioning with a clock motor, bolts, and a laser-cut piece of acrylic.
